Mp=940. D%=15

SP=(1-d÷100)×Mp

SP=(1-15÷100)×Mp

SP=85÷100×940

Answer:

The selling price of the shirt is rupees 799.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The Market price of a shirt is rupees 940.
  • The shopkeeper is giving 15% discount on market price , i.e. on rupees 940.
  • Hence the discount = 15% of 940 = 15/100 × 940 = 141 rupees.
  • So, the selling price of that shirt is = Market Price - Discount = 940-141=799 rupees.

The shopkeeper will sell the shirt at a price of rupees 799.
