The market price of an article is 500.if it's sold at a discount of 25% find the net selling price

discount%=25%

discount=25%of 500

              =25/100 * 500

              =25 * 5

              =125

Selling price = marketed price - discount

                      =500-125

                      =475

Therefore SP is Rs. 475

∴ Discount = ₹ (500×25/100)

                  = ₹ (500×1//4)

                  = ₹ 125

∴ The selling price is = ₹ (500-125)

                                     = ₹ 375

∴ The selling price of the article is ₹375.
