Answer:

median is 15

Step-by-step explanation:

n/2+1, 2+4+8+12+3+1= 30 , here n= 30

then n÷2 + 1= 16

by c.f 16 falls at 15. so the answer is 15

Cumulative frequency is the total of a frequency and all frequencies in a frequency distribution until a certain defined class interval.

Median is the middlemost value of a given data set. It is the value that separates the higher half of the data set, from the lower half.

Mean = Mean of score of 15^{th} and 16^{th} students

M=\frac{(\frac{n}{2})^{th}  +(\frac{n}{2}+1 )^{th} }{2}

M=\frac{(\frac{30}{2})^{th} +(\frac{30}{2}+1)^{th}   }{2}=\frac{15^{th}term+16^{th}term  }{2}

=\frac{15+15}{2}=\frac{30}{2}=15

Hence, median marks =15.
