the marks of 12 students are 41 , 62 , 55 , 51 , 60 , 38 , 52 , 42 , 49 , 63 , 47 and 35. Find the median marks if 63 is replaced by 36 find the new median mark

First of all we have to do the addition of all numbers.....

41+62+55+51+60+38+52+42+49+36+47+35(Replacing 36 in the place of 63)....

= 568/12

=47.33

Hence 47 is your median...
