The highest number in the ratio is 15

If we multiply it by 6 we get 90, on multiplying by 7 we would get 105 which will be greater than total

Thus multiply B's ratio by 7 too

Marks of B = 12*7 =84

The marks obtained by B is 32.43

Step-by-step explanation:

The marks of 3 students A, B and C are  in the ratio 10:12:15

Sum of ratios = 10+12+15=37

We are given that the maximum  marks of the paper are 100

So, B's Marks = \frac{12}{37} \times 100=32.43

Hence The marks obtained by B is 32.43
