Answer:

In February, the difference in marks scored in the two subjects was the highest.

Given:

The marks scored by a student out of 100 in English and Mathematics on four consecutive monthly test

To find:

month in which the difference of marks scored in the two subjects the highest

Solution:

difference between the marks scored in Jan: 85-70 = 15

difference between the marks scored in Feb: 80-60=20

difference between the marks scored in March:75-60= 15

difference between the marks scored in April: 75-65= 10

so, the difference in marks scored in the two subjects was the highest in February.

Hence, February is the correct answer.
