=> 21x + 150 = 1200

=> 21x = 1200 - 150

=> 21x = 1050

$=> x = \frac{1050}{21}$

=> x = 50

Therefore Marks secured in science

= 5x + 40

= 5 × 50 + 40

= 250 + 40

= 290

And Marks scored in Maths

= 6x + 50

= 6× 50 + 50

= 300 + 50

= 350
