The mass and weight of the object on the earth is 10 kg and 98 Newton . What will be the mass and the weight of the object on the moon

therefore mass of the object is 10 kg .

Here we have to assume that g on earth = 9.8 m/s

g on moon = 1 / 6 times g on earth

Therefore weight on moon = mass of the object on moon × g on moon

= 10 × 1 / 6 × 9.8

= 10 × 1.63

= 16.3 N
