Here is your answer...✌

=================================

GIVEN:

Volume of water , V= 5 Ltr = 5000 cm³

{ 1 Ltr = 1000cm³}

Mass of water , M = 5 kg = 5000 g

{ 1 kg = 1000 g }

Now,

Density,

D = M/V

D = 5000 g/ 5000 cm³

D = 1 g/cm³

Hence,

The density of water is 1 g/cm³

Given:

Mass = 5kg = 5,000g

Volume = 5 litres

Now, convert the litres into centimetres

1 litre = 1000 centimetres^3 ( Thousand cubic centimetres )

5 litres = 5 X 1000 centimetres^3

= 5,000 centimetres^3

Now ,

Density = mass of the water / volume of the water

= 5000 g / 5000 cm^3

= 1 kg / cm^3

Therefore,

Density of the water = 1 kg/cm^3.

Note:

Density is the ratio of mass is to volume .

or

Density is mass by volume.

Hope this is useful....
