                            =\dfrac{50 \times 1000}{60\times 60}\ m/s

                              = 13.88 m/s

work done on the bus = change in kinetic energy

                                   =\dfrac{1}{2}\times m\times v^2\ -\ \dfrac{1}{2}\times m\times u^2

                                      =\dfrac{1}{2}\times 2000\times (13.88)^2\ -\ \dfrac{1}{2}\times 2000\times 0^2

                                      = 192654.4 - 0

                                       =\ 1.93\times 10^5 J
