The mass of a given object equals 80g. this object, when put in in water displays 10ml of water. Find the density of the material of the object in kg/m³.

Given,

mass = 80g

volume = 10ml

therefore density = mass/volume

= 80g/10ml

= 8g/ml

and we know that 1ml = 1cm^3

therefore density in kg/m^3 = (80 × 1000)/10×100

= 80kg/m^3
