Answer:

31000 kg.m/s

Explanation:

Momentum=mV

m= 10000=5500

 =15500

V= 2m\s

=15500*2

=31000

Given :

  • Mass of a goods lorry = 5500 kg
  • Mass of goods = 10,000kg
  • Velocity of the loaded lorry = 2ms¯¹

To Find :

  • Momentum

Formula used :

  • Momentum = mass × velocity

Solution :

Mass of lorry = 5500 kg

Mass of goods = 10,000kg

Total mass of loaded lorry(m) =10,000+5,500

= 15,500 kg

And,

Velocity of the loaded lorry (v) = 2ms¯¹

Now,

Momentum = m× v

= 15,500 × 2

= 31,000 kgms¯¹

Therefore, the momentum of the loaded lorry is 31,000 kgms¯¹.
