The mass of a planet is 6 x 10²⁴ kg and it's diameter is 12.8 x 10 ³ km. Calculate the value of acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the planet.

Take Gravitational Constant = 6.7 x 10-¹¹ Nm²/Kg²

Given,

MaSs of planet = 6*10^24 kg

Radius of planet = 6.4*10^6 m

G = 6.7*10^-11 Nm^2/kg^2

As we know that,

g = (G*m)/r^2

or, g = {(6.7*10^-11)*(6*10^24)}/(6.4*10^6)^2

or g = 9.81 m/s^2
