Answer:

The initial acceleration attained by the rocket is 10.2 m/s^2

Explanation:

According to the problem the mass of the rocket,m  is 1.3 x 10^4 kg

The thrust of the force f= 2.6 x 10^5 N

Now from Newton's law we can say that

ma= f - mg

now from here we will calculate the acceleration

a= f- mg/m

  = 2.6 x 10^5 - ( 1.3 x 10^4) x 9.8/  1.3 x 10^4

   = 10.2 m/s^2

Answer:10.2m/s^2

Explanation: I have a very easy method.

F=ma

a=F/m

=2.6×10^5/1.3×10^4 = 20

But as the body is moving upward,

Total Acceleration=20-9.8 = 10.2m/s^2 (if g= 9.8)
