To find :

the force required by the boosters of the space craft to lift it at the velocity of 1 crore m/s in 1000 seconds.

Given :

  • initial velocity, u = 0 m/s
  • final velocity , v = 1,00,00,000 m/s
  • mass of space craft = 10^5 kg
  • time taken = 1000 s

Formula to be used :

  • Force = mass × acceleration
  • acceleration = (v-u)/t

Solution :

acceleration = (v-u)/t

 \longrightarrow \bold{a =  \frac{(10000000 - 0)}{1000} } \\ \\  \longrightarrow \bold{a =  \frac{10000000}{1000} } \\  \\\longrightarrow \boxed{ \bold{a = 10000m {s}^{ - 2} }}

force = mass × acceleration

\longrightarrow \bold{force =  {10}^{5} kg \times 10000} \\ \longrightarrow \bold{force =   {10}^{5}  \times   {10}^{4}  } \\\longrightarrow \boxed{ \bold{force =  {10}^{9}n }}

hence, 10 N force is required .
