Answer: The density of the paint is 1.3g/cm³

Explanation:

Density=mass/volume

for the mass, we only want the mass of the paint, not the tin containing it. So, we will subtract the mass of only the tim from the mass of the tin with paint. Then divide by the volume of paint.

Here is the calculation:

d=m/v

m= 7kg-0.5kg=6.5kg

v=5000cm³

d=6.5kg/5000cm³=1.3kg/1000cm³

we can convert kg into grams to help in calculation

d=1.3*1000g/1000cm³=1.3g/cm³

Hope this helps

Answer:

1.3 gm /cm cube

Explanation:

mass of tin + mass of paint = 7kg

mass of paint = 7-0.5 = 6.5kg

density= mass/volune

=6.5kg/ 5000cm cube

= 1.3 gm/cm cube
