Hello

concept :

unitary method

(method in which 1 quantity is find out & other no whose is to be found is multiplied)

mass of 1 H atom = 1.008 u

mass of 18 atoms of H = 18 × 1.008

= 18.144 u

I hope u understood

Answer:

The mass of an atom of Hydrogen is 1.008 u then the mass of 18 atoms of hydrogen will be 18.14112U

Explanation:

Hydrogen is the first element is of the periodic table. The atomic number of the hydrogen is 1. It is the lightest element. It is the most abundant chemical substance in the Universe. Symbol of the Hydrogen is H. It has one electron and one proton. The mass of an Hydrogen atom is 1.00784U or, ≈1.008U.

So. we can say that the mass of 18 atoms of Hydrogen will be

(18x1.00784)U = 18.14112U
