the mass of an empty density bottle is 28g. when it is filled with water, it has a mass of 58 g. Its mass is 48g when it is filled with alcohol. Find the following:-
a) the volume of the density bottle
b) relative density of alcohol
c) density of alcohol ​

density = mass/ volume

mass of empty bottle = 28g

mass of bottle having water =density x volume

58g = 10³ x volume

mass of bottle having alcohol = density of alcohol x volume

48 g = density of alcohol x volume

volume remain constant .

then , 58 / 10³ = 48 /density of alcohol

density of alcohol =( 48 x 10³) /58

volume = 58 /10³

relative density of alcohol = density of alcohol /density of water.
