\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Given:-}}}

• Mass = 312 gm

• Density = 7.8 per cm³

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ To Find :-}}}

• Volume of the ball

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Solution :-}}}

\underline{\:\textsf{Let's try to know about density  :}}

Density is defined as mass per unit volume .It describes the total space taken by any object.

\tt{\large{\boxed{\bold{\bold{\green{\sf{Density=\dfrac{Mass}{Volume}}}}}}}}

Here : -

•D = Density

•M = Mass

•V = Volume

\underline{\:\textsf{Now, put the given values in the formula  :}}

\longrightarrow \tt{7.8=\dfrac{312}{V}}

\longrightarrow \tt{V\times{7.8}=312}

\longrightarrow \tt{V=\dfrac{312}{7.8}}

\longrightarrow \tt{V=\dfrac{312\times{10}}{78}}

\longrightarrow \tt{V=\cancel\dfrac{3120}{78}}

\bf{ \longrightarrow V = 40\: g/cm³}

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Hence-}}}

\underline{\textsf{ The volume of the ball is \textbf{40g/cm³}}}.
