Weight is given by the formula,

W = mg

W  → is the weight of the object in newtons

m  → is the mass of the object in kilograms

g  → is the gravitational acceleration

On Earth,  g = 9.8 m/s 2 ,

the object's weight on Earth will be:

W = 50 kg . 9.8 m /s 2

= 490 N

note : the weight of body depends where the body is , if it is on mars then the gravitational force also different so it may result in change in the weight of the body.
