Answer:

Formula for the calculation for kinetic energy

K.E = 1/2 mv^2

Here m= 10 kg and v =3m/s

Hence K.E = 45 Kg m^2/s^2= 45 J

Joule(J) is the unit of Energy

Given :-

  • Mass of object = 3kg
  • Velocity of body = 10m/s

To find :-

  • Kinetic energy of the object = ?

Solution :-

As we know that ,

Kinetic energy = 1/2 mv²

Where ,

  • m → mass = 3kg
  • v → velocity = 10m/s

Substituting the values we have ,

➜ K.E = 1/2 × 3 × 10²

➜ K.E = 1/2 × 3 × 10 × 10

➜ K.E = 5 × 10 × 3

Kinetic energy = 150 J

Hence , Kinetic energy of the object = 150J
