mass of the earth

= 5.972×10^24kg

Radius of the earth

= 1.496×10^11m

Total distance covered will be equal to the circumference of the circle

D = 2π R

D = 2×3 .14 ×1.496×10^11

D =9.35 × 10^11

time taken in order to complete one revolution

T = 1 year =365 days

T =365 × 24 × 3600

T = 8760×3600

T=3.15 × 10^ 7 sec

Speed

= Distance/ time

= 9.35 × 10^11 /3.15 × 10^ 7

=2.96 × 10^4 m / s

Linear momentum

= m v

= 5.972×10^24× 2.96 × 10^4

=17.6 × 10^28 kg m / s
