the mass of moon is M and its radius is R. Calculate the acceleration due to gravity of a spaceship orbiting around the moon at a distance thrice the radius of moon from its centre.

1/6th of the earths gravitational pull is moons gravitational pull therefore the acceleration of that spaceship is 1/6th of the acceleration experienced by it on earths orbit.
