Answer:

Mass never changes so if the mass of earth is 60 kg then i will be 60kg on moon too.

If we talk about weight then then weight on earth will be 60×9.8 = 588 N and on moon will be 60×1.7 =102 N

Hope it helps.....

Explanation:

Given:

  • Mass of the body on Earth is 60 kg

To Find:

  • Weight of body on Earth and Moon

Solution:

→ Weight can be calculated by using the formula W = m x g ( Mass x Gravitation)

According to the question:

We know that the gravity of Earth is 9.8 ms²

Weight = 60 kg x 9.8 ms²

Weight = 588 N

Hence, Weight of the body on Earth will be 588 Newton

→ For Moon

★ Weight of object on moon = 1/6 ×

(weight of object on earth)

Weight = 1/6 x 588

Weight = 98 Newton

Hence, Weight of the body on Moon will be 98 Newton
