Answer:

I will tell you the formulas...

To work out density: p = m / V.

To work out the mass: m = p x V.

To work out the volume: V = m / p.

Answer:

Volume of the ball is 0.25 cm³.

Density in SI units is 5 x 10⁵ kg m⁻³.

Relative density of the ball is  500 g cm⁻³.

Given:

Mass of the ball, m = 125 g

Density, d = 500 g/cm³

Find:

The volume of the ball.

Density in SI units.

Relative Density.

Solution:

Let the volume of the ball be V.

As we know,

Density = Mass / Volume

d = m / V

V = m / d

V = 125 / 500

  = 0.25 cm³

Hence, volume of the ball is 0.25 cm³.

Density in SI units = Density in CGS units x 1000

                              = 500 x 1000

                              = 500000 kg m⁻³

                              = 5 x 10⁵ kg m⁻³

Hence, density in SI units is 5 x 10⁵ kg m⁻³.

Relative Density = Density of ball/Density of water at 4°C

                           = 500/1

                           = 500 g cm⁻³

Hence, the relative density of the ball is  500 g cm⁻³.
