KINETIC ENERGY= P^2/2M

where, P= momentum
M= mass

now,
k.E1 = P1^2/2*1....... (1)

K.E2 = P2^2/2*2 = P2^2/4......... (2)

dividing egn ( 1) and (2)

P1^2/P2^2 = 1/4

P1/P2 = 1:2
