Answer:

5:12

Explanation:

Let the masses be 5mand 6m and velocity be 1vand 2v then momentum will be 5mv and 12mv and the ratio of momentum will be 5mv/12mv =5:12

Given,

ratio of masses of two bodies = 5:6

let their actual masses be x,

= 5x and 6x

Velocities are in the ratio 1:2

Let their actual velocities be x,

= x and 2x

Momentum or p = mv

p1:p2 = m1v1:m2v2

so, p1 = m1v1

= 5x*x

= 5x^2 kg m/s

similarly, p2 = m2v2

= 6x*2x

= 12x^2 kg m/s

their ratio will be,

p1:p2 = 5x^2 : 12x^2

= 5x^2 / 12x^2

Final ratio of their linear momentum = 5 : 12

Hope this helped you...
