Let the mass be m1 and m2

or

M1 = 15.7 ± 0.2------------1

M2 = 27.3 ± 0.3------------2

By adding 1 and 2

m1 + m2 = 15.7 + 27.3

= 43.0 or 43

hence E or Error = ∆m1 + ∆ m2

= 0.2+0.3 = 0.5

Mass = 43.0 ± 0.5
