Hello Dear.

Question of yours is little bit incomplete. Correct Question will be ⇒

The Master Bedroom of Area 256 square feet of a new building has been completely paved with the 16 vitrified square tiles. Finds the Area of each square tiles and the side of each square tiles ?

Solution ⇒

Area of the floor of the Master Bedroom = 256 sq.feet.
Number of square tiles required to pave the floor of the Master bedroom = 16 tiles.

∵ Number of Tiles required = Total area of the floor/Area of one square tiles.
∴ Area of the one square tiles = 256/16
⇒ Area of 1 sq. tiles = 16 sq.feet.

∴ Area of 1 square tiles = 16 sq.feet.

We know, Area of the square = (Side)²
⇒ (Side)² = 16
⇒ Side = √16
⇒Side = 4 feet.

Hence, the side of 1 square tile is 4 feet.

Hope it helps.

Solution :-

This question is incomplete. Area of each square tile and length of each side is to be calculated in this question.

Area of the master bedroom = 256 sq feet

Total number of square tiles required to completely pave the floor of bedroom = 16

Number of square tiles required = Area of the floor/Area of 1 square tile

Let the area of 1 square tile be x.

⇒ 16 = 256/x

⇒ 16x = 256

⇒ x = 256/16

⇒ x = 16

So, area of 1 square tile is 16 sq feet.

Length of each side of the square tile = ?

Area of square = (Side)²

⇒ 16 = (Side)²

⇒ Side = √16

⇒ Side = 4

So, length of each side of the square tile is 4 feet.
