since the cone is converted to cylinder their volumes will be equal.

 \frac{1}{3} \pi \times  {r}^{2}  \times h = \pi {r}^{2} h

cancellation of π and r since they are equal and substituting given values.

 \frac{1}{3} h = 5 \\ h = 5 \times 3 \\ h = 15cm
