The material of wire of potentiometer is : (a) Copper, because it has high conductivity (b) Steel, because it is very hard and rust free. (c) Manganin, because of high resistivity and low temperature coefficient of resistivity. (d) Aluminium, because it is a good conductor and cheaper than copper.​
