see, square of the radius of our earth is inversely proportional to g(acceleration due to gravity).hence, the areas where the radius is more, acceleration due to gravity is less.for example, near equator, radius is more and g is less(9.2 m per sec square)whereas in poles, radius of our earth is less and so,the acceleration due to gravity is more!
