It is possible when frequency is doubled while the amplitude is halved.

Explanation :

we know that, maximum velocity,

Vm = Aω = constant

the maximum acceleration is given by,

a = ω²A = ω(ωA) = ωVm

since Vm is to be kept constant, hence

a ∝ ω

hence for double maximum acceleration the frequency should be doubled.

Similarly:

a = ω²A = (Vm/A)² A = Vm²/A

since Vm is to be kept constant, hence

a ∝ 1/A

hence for double maximum acceleration the amplitude should be halved.
