adding of two vectors is equal to resultant of that two vectors,

so,

R=√(A^2+B^2+2ABcos¢)

here¢=90°

and cos 90°=0

so resultant will be,

R=√(A^2+B^2)

R=√(17^2+7^2)

R=√(289+49)

R=√338

R=18.3847763
