The distance between two meridians at the Equator is maximum:
At the equator, there is maximum distance between any 2 meridian because the earth has latitudes, longitudes, and the equator running across it, owing to the spherical nature of the earth the latitudes that run across converge at a particular place called the poles.
Hence, the distance between them near the poles is very less whereas at the equator which is in the center of the earth the distance is the maximum.
