The maximum loss in weight of a body is ,
A) It is completely immersed in a liquid
B) It is partially immersed in a liquid
C) It just touch the surface of a liquid
D) It completely sunk in the liquid

Correct answer - a) It is completely immersed in water.

Reason - According to Archimedes principal, we know that whenever we immerse a body in a liquid, it loses weight. Lose in weight is equal to the water displaced by the object.

So when we will immerse a object in liquid fully, it will displace more water and following Archimedes principal, there will be more loss in weight of object. So we got the answer :)
