No , the right answer is - The maximum number of electrons in L - shell is 8

Since, the L - shell is the second shell from the nucleus ,
Therefore , from the formula , 2n^2,
we get , the number of maximum electrons = 2 × 2^2
= 2 × 4
= 8...
