According to question the we can use the formula of average speed
average speed = total distance /total time
= 400/10 =40 km/hr
the ratio of maximum speed to average speed = 80/40 = 2 ( as maximum speed of the train is 80km/hr given)
=2:1.
average speed = total distance /total time
= 400/10 =40 km/hr
the ratio of maximum speed to average speed = 80/40 = 2 ( as maximum speed of the train is 80km/hr given)
=2:1.
