the maximum value of f(x) will be √2,
there is the formula for the max and min value of the cosine and sine function ,if they have same angles.
if g(y)= asiny + bcosy, then
max value = √(a²+ b²)
min value = -√(a²+b²)
so, max value of f(x) = √1²+1²
=√2
