Subject: Need for a multipurpose stadium

Dear Sir/Madam,

I reside in Malad, a suburb of Mumbai. As you know Malad is getting increasingly congested with housing colonies and new buildings coming up every year. A few years ago there were many open grounds where children could play. There are now many English, Marathi, Hindi and Gujarathi medium schools in addition to several colleges, and yet not even one of them has a playground worth the name. thus the students in this area are deprived of sports facilities that are so necessary for their physical growth and all-around development. In fact a multi-purpose stadium in our locality is necessity, not a luxury.

The stadium should be a large and well-equipped, capable enough of being used by all the schools and colleges of our area. I do hope you will give this suggestion your immediate and favourable consideration.

Yours faithfully,

XYZ
