let their ages be 2x, 3x, 2x
therefore sum of their ages = 2x + 3x + 2x = 7x = 28 * 3 = 84
7x = 84
x = 12
therefore 2x = 24, 3x = 36
therefore the ages are 24 yrs, 36 yrs, 24 yrs

rohanharolikar: average = sum of 3 ages divided by 3
rohanharolikar: so the sum must be average × 3
rohanharolikar: 28 × 3 is 84
shekharRajvansh1: it will sum out to give 24 +36+24=84
lee0liks: Oh, ok got it
rohanharolikar: great
