x1 + x2 + x3 ---- + x9 = 144
Σixi = 144
x (bar) = Σixi / n = 144 / 9 = 16
S.D = √ Σixi ^2 / n' - (x bar)^2
S.D = √ 2554 / 9 - (16)^2 / 1
S.D = √ 250 / 9 = 5.16
Thus the value of standard deviation is 5.16
