therefore,Y=15

all observations =10,12,13,x,17,18

Mean = 15

We know that ,

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \implies 15 =  \frac{10  +  12  + 13  +  x  + 17  +  18}{6}  \\  \\ \sf \implies 9 0 = 70 + x \\  \\  \sf \implies x = 20

Hence , the required value of x is 20
