Hey!
Numbers are :- 10 , 12 , 16 , 20 , P , 26
![mean \: = \frac{sum \: of \: \: all \: \: the \: nos.}{total \: no.} mean \: = \frac{sum \: of \: \: all \: \: the \: nos.}{total \: no.}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=mean+%5C%3A++%3D++%5Cfrac%7Bsum+%5C%3A+of+%5C%3A++%5C%3A+all+%5C%3A++%5C%3A+the+%5C%3A+nos.%7D%7Btotal+%5C%3A+no.%7D+)
![17 = \frac{84 + p}{6} 17 = \frac{84 + p}{6}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=17+%3D++%5Cfrac%7B84+%2B+p%7D%7B6%7D+)
102 = 84 + p
102 - 84 = p
18 = p
So, p = 18 !!

Hi,
Here is your answer,
Given data,
Mean of 10 , 12 , 16 , 20 , P , 26 is 17
We know that,
Mean = Sum of all observations/Number of observations
→ 17 = 84 + p/6 { 17 × 6 }
→ 102 = 84 + p ∴ (+) will go to right hand side it will become (-)
→102 - 84 = p
→ 18 = p
Hope it helps you !
