Hey!!!!
__________
Given, mean of 10 numbers = 55
Sum of 10 numbers = mean x 10
=> Sum of 10 numbers = 550
Again mean of 9 numbers = 50
Sum of 9 numbers = mean x 9
=> Sum of 9 numbers = 450
Difference in sum = 550 - 450
=> Difference = 100
Thus the excluded number was 100
_____________
Hope this helps ✌️
Legally Good Morning :-)

Mean = (sum of observations)/(no. of observation)
==========================
=> Mean of 10 numbers = sum of 10 numbers)/10
=> 55= (sum of 10 numbers)/10
=> 55×10 = sum of 10 numbers
=> 550 =sum of 10 numbers
============================
When 1 number excluded,
=> Mean = (sum of 50 numbers - excluded number)/(49)
=> 50 = (550- excluded number)/9
=> 50×9= 550-excluded number
=> 450 = 550-excluded number
=> 550-450 = excluded number
=> 100 = excluded number
Excluded number is 100
I hope this will help you
