Mean =(x1+x2+x3-----x10)/10
32=(x1+x2+x3----x10)/10
320=(x1+x2+x3-----x10)
If one number is excluded,mean become 32-2=30
30={(x1+x2+x3-----x10)-x10}/9
270=320-x10
270-320=-x10
-50=-x10
50=x
Then the excluded number is 50
32=(x1+x2+x3----x10)/10
320=(x1+x2+x3-----x10)
If one number is excluded,mean become 32-2=30
30={(x1+x2+x3-----x10)-x10}/9
270=320-x10
270-320=-x10
-50=-x10
50=x
Then the excluded number is 50

Given that Mean of 10 numbers = 32.
Then the total sum of numbers = 32 * 10
= 320.
Given that 1 number is excluded, the mean gets reduced by 2.
So, Mean of 9 numbers = 32 - 2
= 30.
Therefore the total sum of numbers = 9 * 30
= 270.
Therefore the excluded number = 320 - 270
= 50.
Hence the excluded number = 50.
Hope this helps!
