The mean of 100 observatios is 50. if one of the observation which was 50 is replaced 150 then what will be the resulting mean??​

Now, the observation 50 is replaced by 150, then Eq. ( i) becomes, 100Σi=1xi=5000-50+150=5100. ∴ Resulting mean =100Σi=1xi100=5100100=51. Hence, the resulting mean is 51.24
