The mean of 12 observation is 14. By an error one observation is registered as 24 instead of( - 24) Find the actual mean??

Mean of 12 observation= 14

Sum of 12 observation=12×14=168

New sum of 12 observations =168-24-24

=120

The actual mean=120/12=10
