Mean of 15 numbers is = 27

so,

sum of 15 numbers = 27×15= 405

let the excluded number be x

now,

sum of 14 numbers = 405-x [as 1 is excluded]

mean =  \frac{sum \: of \: 14 \: numbers \: }{14}

 =  \frac{405 - x}{14}

 =  > 27 - 2 =  \frac{405 - x}{14}

25 \times 14 = 405 - x

350 = 405 - x

x = 405 -350

x = 55
