Answer:

the mean of 15 numbers is 5

therefore their sum=15*5=75

if 2 is added to each number then 2 is added to the all the 15 numbers

therefore 2*15 or 30 more will be added to the sum or 75

=75+30=105

therefore new mean = 105/15=7 [mean=sum of observations/no. of observations]
